[:en]The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor General’s Office issued a joint statement regarding calls by the opposition to hold an unauthorized rally on November 2 in the center of the capital.

Law enforcement agencies will decisively stop the unauthorized rally on November 2 and responsibility for the violation of public order will rest with the PFPA leaders, including Ali Karimli himself.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor General’s Office consider such calls as an attempt to seize power by force and threaten to prosecute those who organize and actively participate in the upcoming rally.
